Crystal Meridian — Android Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
Your privacy controls
Use the game’s Privacy & Data settings to review available advertising preferences and regional consent choices. Device-level advertising controls are managed separately by your operating system. Optional personalization is not required for ordinary gameplay. Rewarded ads may be unavailable depending on consent, connectivity and provider availability.
Resetting progress versus deleting data
- Progress reset: resets gameplay statistics as explained below. A hashed identity and reset marker can remain to prevent older devices from restoring deleted progress.
- Fuller deletion request: email admin@oramagroupllc.com to request removal of remaining cloud identifiers and associated information, subject to verification and applicable retention obligations.
- Separate provider records: store purchases, platform leaderboard records and device backups are managed separately. A progress reset or uninstall does not delete them.
Advertisements and external links
If you select an advertisement or external link, another company’s website, app or store may open. Its privacy practices apply to information it collects there. Review that provider’s notice before supplying personal information. Orama remains responsible for its own processing described in this policy.
Crystal Meridian for Android is owned and operated by ORAMA GROUP LLC, a New York limited liability company ("Orama", "we", "us"). Contact: admin@oramagroupllc.com. This policy describes the Android game and features where available. Some services may be unavailable in development builds or until their platform setup is complete.
Google Play Games and cloud progress
On Android, Crystal Meridian uses Google Play Games instead of Apple Game Center. No separate Crystal Meridian email/password account is required. Google may provide a game-specific player identifier and player display name. Google manages its own account and sign-in process; Orama does not receive your Google password.
When cloud saving is enabled and you sign in, the app sends your player identifier and a single-use Google authorization code to our dedicated Supabase service. The server exchanges the code with Google and verifies the player for Crystal Meridian. Access tokens are used for verification and are not stored in the cloud-save database. Server credentials are not included in the app.
We store a hashed player identifier, display name, save-device identifier, best score, completed-run count, total distance, close-call count, introduction status and synchronization/reset markers. These support saving, restoring and safely merging progress between Android devices signed into the same Google Play Games profile. A hashed identifier is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Supabase processes these records in the United States and may process IP addresses and operational logs. An unfinished run is not restored. Device preferences and advertising choices are not synced.
Google and Apple player identities are separate. Signing into Google does not link an Apple profile or transfer Apple purchases. Optional Google Play Games leaderboard participation, when available, submits longest-run distance to Google; your Play Games identity, rank and score can be visible to other players under Google's settings. Progress reset does not delete Google's leaderboard records.
Android purchases
Google Play processes Android purchases through Unity In-App Purchasing. The app receives product, transaction and entitlement information to display prices, unlock purchased content and restore ownership. Orama does not receive payment-card details. Purchases are associated with the purchasing Google Play account, separately from the cloud gameplay record. Local/cloud progress reset does not cancel purchases. Platform refund and purchase-management tools remain available through Google Play.
Unity In-App Purchasing may also process purchase events, app/device and installation identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, and diagnostic/performance data to operate, measure and improve purchasing services. Google Play Games may process gamer identity, service analytics and diagnostics under Google’s privacy settings. These provider-level processes are separate from Orama’s cloud progress records and from optional advertising personalization.
Android advertising choices
Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform support optional rewarded revives, ads between runs and regional consent choices. Google and advertising partners may collect and share IP addresses and approximate location derived from them, device/app identifiers, advertising identifiers where available, app/ad interactions, and diagnostic/performance information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ads can still process personal data for these purposes.
The app asks for an age group without a date of birth and stores the choice on the device. Adults may opt into personalized advertising, subject to regional consent and applicable Android/Google settings. Apple tracking permission does not apply on Android. Players choosing ages 13–17 or preferring not to say receive restricted non-personalized ad requests. No ads are requested for players choosing under 13. The game is intended for people aged 13 and older. An active lifetime ad-free entitlement suppresses ad requests. Advertising consent can be revisited in the app where available; Android advertising-ID settings are managed through the device. Declining optional personalization does not prevent normal gameplay.
Optional gameplay analytics
Starting with Android version 0.2.4, adults can separately choose to allow Google Analytics for Firebase. It is off until you opt in; players selecting an age under 18 or preferring not to say do not enable this feature. Declining does not limit gameplay, purchases or eligible rewarded revives. Change your choice in Settings > Privacy & Data > Gameplay Analytics.
When enabled, Google processes an app-instance identifier, device and app information, sessions and engagement, approximate location derived from network information, and events describing run starts, crashes, run completion, score, distance, duration, revives, and selected worlds or crystals. The SDK may also record supported purchase events and ad impressions or revenue. We use these measurements to understand play and improve the game, and link Firebase with AdMob for combined usage and advertising-revenue reporting.
We do not send your player name, Google Play Games identity or cloud-save identifier to Analytics. Analytics advertising-ID collection and ad personalization are disabled. Advertising preferences are separate. Withdrawing analytics consent stops future collection and resets the local analytics identifier; it does not automatically delete previously received reports. Contact admin@oramagroupllc.com for privacy requests. Because we do not link analytics to your named player account, identifying a particular analytics record may not be possible. Google processes analytics under its service retention settings, and aggregated reporting may remain.
Deleting progress and requesting deletion
When signed in and online, use Settings > Player Profile > Delete Saved Progress and confirm. This resets statistics and removes the saved display name from active progress. A hashed identity and reset marker remain to prevent an older device from restoring deleted records. New gameplay may create new records. Guests can reset local data. Uninstalling alone does not delete cloud records.
To request deletion of remaining cloud identifiers and associated data, email admin@oramagroupllc.com with the subject “Crystal Meridian Android data deletion.” We may request information needed to locate and verify the record, but never your Google password or payment-card details. Requests are subject to applicable legal/security retention obligations. Provider backups and operational logs may remain under their retention schedules. This does not delete your Google account, Google-managed leaderboard records, purchases or device backups.

Retention, rights and security
We retain cloud progress to provide restoration until you reset it or request deletion, subject to the reset safeguards described above, service closure and applicable legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to respond and for legitimate operational, security and legal purposes.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of or delete personal information; restrict processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain advertising uses; or complain to a regulator. Where applicable law treats advertising disclosures as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising, associated opt-out rights may apply even if no money is exchanged. Contact admin@oramagroupllc.com to exercise applicable rights, use an authorized agent or appeal a response. We may need to verify a request and apply legal exceptions. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
We use safeguards such as encrypted connections and server-side identity verification. No system guarantees absolute security. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to providers helping operate the game. Cloud records are private; optional Google leaderboard sharing is separate. We do not request precise location, contacts, photos or microphone access. Optional gameplay measurement is described above.
Children and international processing
The game is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided it, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required. Players below the age of legal adulthood should involve a parent or guardian.
Cloud gameplay records are processed in the United States. Support, provider services and device backups may involve other countries whose privacy laws differ from yours. Your operating system, Google Play and email provider also process information under their own policies. Device backups may contain local game data; Orama does not operate those backups.
